The Committee on Public Health
shall have the duties and powers to consider bills, carry out activities, undertake
fact-finding or study any matter concerning public health, health system development, appropriate and international standard public health service, production of public health personnel to be sufficient for the needs of the public health system, including medical treatment, control and prevention of communicable and non-communicable diseases, rehabilitation, health promotion, development of quality of life and health behaviors of the people, and impact of population change and other relevant matters.
