The Committee on Economics, Monetary Matters and Finance
shall have the duties and powers to consider bills, carry out activities, undertake fact-finding or study any matter concerning overview economy, national and international economic situations which may impact Thai economy, including policies and national economic development plans, monetary matters, finance, banking, insurance, capital and bond markets, digital finance and assets, increment of national competitiveness, and state enterprise policies, while creating opportunities, rights, capabilities, access to resources, equality, inclusive growth, access to service and public and community welfare to integrate solutions for poverty and reduce social inequality, as well as monitoring the systematic and continuous practical application of the Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy to achieve sustainable development goals with people as the center, and other relevant matters.
