The Committee on Agriculture and Co-operatives
shall have the duties and powers to consider bills, carry out activities, undertake
fact-finding, or study any matter concerning agriculture, fisheries and livestock farming, utilization of land, water and factors of agricultural production, development of agricultural resources, technology and innovation, agricultural industry, food, co-operatives, production, transformation, agribusiness and value-added agriculture; as well as solutions to the problem of declining agricultural product prices, grouping of farmer and co-operative network organizations, and other relevant matters.
